Spirited by a vision from God, in 1999, Valton and Sandra Williams, a retired middle school teacher and former social worker, respectively, embarked on their next chapter in life. With faith and ambition, the husband and wife jointly opened Awesome God Christian Bookstore two years later on May 6, 2001, in downtown Warrenton, NC. The store offers a variety of Bibles for adults & children in different versions and formats (KJV, NKJV, NIV, NLT, Message, etc.), Christian books & music, Sunday school curriculum, clergy wear, usher uniforms, church supplies, gifts for all occasions, and more. For over 21 years, the Williams continue to serve the community and stand firmly on the Word of God: “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works but glorify our Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
